ABOUT
Apex Divers LTD has been a well-known commercial diving company based in Weymouth for over 30 years, offering commercial diving services and specialist boat charter in the UK and overseas.

Originally owned by Peter Knight, who retired in April 2016, the Apex Divers team continues to carry out their professional expertise under the newly named company Apex Diving & Marine.
​
Apex Diving & Marine is owned and managed by Ian Taylor, Ian has been supplying work boats/ diving support vessels to the recreational and commercial diving market for over 20 years.
​
Ian Taylor company manager of Apex Diving & Marine has been a qualified HSE commercial diver since 1992 and has worked for numerous diving companies on projects in the UK and overseas including Apex Divers Ltd.
​
Ian has been working in the diving industry for over 25 years and is a well-known and respected boat skipper on the south coast of England. His business has been involved in taking divers to wreck sites all over the English Channel and has a vast amount of experience in organising and running diving projects, sport, technical and commercial.
Ian is also Deputy Coxswain of Weymouth’s RNLI all-weather lifeboat for the last 15 years.

Apex diving & Marine has continued to supply a reliable and professional service to the original clients of Apex divers and new customers.
Apex Diving & Marine are based in Portland Marina in Dorset with on site-office, a large workshop /storage unit.
The company has all the latest diving equipment (regularly maintained and certified to IMCA 36)
2 x 11 metre fast catamarans
5.5 metre RHIB
All coded to MCA workboat requirements.
These vessels are ideal for a multitude of applications including Dive support, survey, guard boats, trial support and water safety.
